Description
Position Overview
The Operating Room Nurse plays a critical role within the surgical team, providing comprehensive care and support during procedures. This position involves ensuring a well-prepared operating room for scheduled surgeries and addressing any urgent or emergent cases that may arise during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for the next day's scheduled cases.
- Check and verify the outdates of all supplies and equipment.
- Assist with urgent and emergent surgical cases as they arise.
- Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Operating Room Nurse is required.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and operating room protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Schedule
This position requires a day shift commitment, Monday through Friday, with no call, holidays, or weekend duties.
