Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position requires a strong clinical background and expertise in caring for critically ill newborns.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the NICU.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, making adjustments to care as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate families on patient care and health management.
Scheduling and Shift Details
This position will require working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including a rotation of varied days and weekends. Attendance is mandatory on specific start dates.
Qualifications
- Current Missouri RN License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification are required.
- Previous experience in NICU preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Participation in weekend rotation is expected.
- Holiday coverage may be required as needed.
- An occupational health appointment is required upon acceptance of the position, which includes a drug screening, TB test, and physical examination.
Orientation and Onboarding
Orientation details will be provided, and all credentials must be submitted by the Wednesday prior to the start date.
