Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. Candidates will be responsible for providing outstanding patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Treat a diverse caseload of patients, with varying diagnoses including orthopedic, neuro, trauma, and post-surgical cases.
• Evaluate patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using the Cerner Powerchart electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation aides and support staff to enhance patient outcomes.
• May be required to float to different areas based on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid licensure or certification for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology in the state of practice.
• For Speech Language Pathology, possession of the CCC-SLP certification is mandatory.
• Occupational Therapists must have passed the NBCOT exam.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience is required; travel and trauma experience is preferred.
• Experience in evaluating and conducting bedside and video swallow studies is preferred for SLP candidates.

Work Environment

• Shifts are typically 8 hours in length, with varying schedules that may include weekdays and weekends.
• Orientation will consist of 1.5 days specific to the role and includes Cerner training as needed.
• Provide care in a Level 2 trauma inpatient rehabilitation environment.
• Weekend and holiday requirements may vary based on departmental needs.
