Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

This is a 32-bed unit dedicated to adult and older adult populations. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 and the unit specializes in trauma patients. The administration of heparin drips and all acute medications will be done as ordered.

Essential Qualifications

Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
Documented experience in medical telemetry is mandatory.
Experience with specialty equipment, including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment.
Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or prior NICHE training is a plus.

Technical Requirements

The use of EPIC EMR systems is required. A completed checklist demonstrating competencies is expected.
