Description
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the CVOR setting, with a focus on cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the scrub role during cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure that all instruments and equipment are prepared and functioning prior to surgery.
- Participate in additional surgical services when not engaged in cardiac cases.
- Be available for on-call responsibilities after scheduled shifts and during weekend shifts, averaging 2 weeks per month.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in CVOR settings.
- Experience with trauma and robotic surgeries is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong reliability and commitment to attendance and punctuality.
Call Requirements
While this position does require call hours, the likelihood of being called in is very minimal. Candidates must be prepared for this responsibility while maintaining an understanding of availability based on surgical procedures, including weekends as necessary.

This position is located in City, State. Multiple locations within the region may be considered.
