Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. This role requires expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures, ensuring a high standard of care and support during surgical interventions.

Scheduled Details

• Hours: 8-hour shifts
• Shift Time: 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in CVOR.

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Current NBSTSA certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Floating and Weekend Requirements

• Must be willing to float within the department.
• On-call weekend rotation required, with 3-4 weekend days per month.

On-Call Expectations

• 8-10 call days per month on weekdays from 3 PM to 7 AM.
• Weekend call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Holiday Requirements

Participation in holiday rotations as part of the team is expected.

Orientation

Orientation scheduled for 4 hours prior to start date.

Credential Submission Deadline

All required credentials (DS, CBC, Tspot/QuantiFERON gold) must be submitted by Thursday prior to the start date.
