Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role involves providing care in both outpatient and acute settings, primarily focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outpatient physical therapy services, focusing on orthopedic cases.
- Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute medical and neurological conditions.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients about their diagnoses and treatment options.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment interventions in the charting system.
Qualifications
- Current Oregon License required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience is preferred.
- Experience with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic and neurological cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule
The typical schedule consists of four 10-hour days, either Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, with an 8:00 AM start time. There is no weekend or holiday requirement.
Dress Code
Business casual attire is required; denim is not permitted.
Additional Information
Department-specific orientation will be provided on the first day. The role is primarily based within an outpatient clinic located at an athletic club, where collaboration with rehabilitation aides and other therapists is key.
Location
This position is located in a small town environment with a variety of clinical cases to treat, providing a rich and rewarding experience for the right candidate.
