Cath Lab Technologist

General Information

This position involves working in a dynamic Cath Lab environment with the following details:

• Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Number of Staff: 22, including RNs and Technologists
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 Charge RN, Director, 4 staff members per room, totaling 16 team members
• Night Shift Staffing: On-call team, comprising 3 per call team, totaling 7
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment Used: All GE rooms

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT
• Technical Skills: Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova
• Preferred Certification: RCIS

Typical Procedures

The Cath Lab Technician will be expected to perform the following procedures:

• Cardiac Catheterizations
• Cerebral Angiograms
• Stent Insertions
• Balloon Angioplasties
• ENT Lab Procedures
• Assisting in scrubbing
