General Information

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 7 holding beds
• Type of Equipment: GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation System: MacLab, Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Primarily Monday to Friday, with ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) call approximately 10 to 12 days a month, self-scheduling available.
• Floating Policy: Within the departments of Electrophysiology and Stress Lab.

Patient Experience Requirements

Focus on delivering exceptional care and enhancing patient experience.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Requested Skill Set: Experience in Cath Lab, Structural Heart procedures, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella devices, Infrared Fractional Flow Reserve (IFR), and Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR).
• Advanced Skills: Proficiency in Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) procedures, IABP, and Impella usage.

Procedures Performed

• TAVR
• PFO
• Atherectomy
• PCI
• Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
• Impella/IABP management
• Implants
• Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs will be provided by the facility.
