Unit Information
Location: Aurora, CO
Unit: CC4 Telemetry / 618
- Number of Beds: 345 - 3-time Magnet Designation
- Number of Staff: Approximately 80 in the float pool
Shift Information
This position is for the night shift, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
General Information
- Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:5 for day and night shifts, varying by unit
- Types of Equipment: Various equipment utilized on the unit
- EMR: Meditech / CPN
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care Telemetry experience
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
Preferred Skills:
- Strong experience in Telemetry
- Chemo Certification (ability to float to Oncology unit)
Typical Procedures
This unit handles a varied population with a primary focus on cardiac patients. Team members may be required to float to all inpatient Med/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as necessary.
