Description
Position Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the PCU/Stepdown unit. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
Shift Details
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Call Requirements: Yes
Assignment Length
This is a 13-week assignment.
Documentation and Policies
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: As needed
Qualifications
- Must Have:
- 2+ years of hospital experience
- 2+ years of specialty experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
- PCU/Stepdown experience
Licensure
Active RN license is required (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails.
- Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible. Non-feasible tattoos will be addressed individually.
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited.
Unit Guidelines and Policies
- Floating Guidelines: To be followed as per unit policies.
- Attendance Policies: Company-wide attendance policy will be adhered to.
