Position Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the PCU/Stepdown unit. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.

Shift Details

• Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Assignment Length

This is a 13-week assignment.

Documentation and Policies

• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: As needed

Qualifications

• Must Have:
  • 2+ years of hospital experience
  • 2+ years of specialty experience
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Meditech documentation system
  • PCU/Stepdown experience

Licensure

Active RN license is required (temporary licenses will not be accepted).

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Royal Blue
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails.
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible. Non-feasible tattoos will be addressed individually.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ear piercings are prohibited.

Unit Guidelines and Policies

• Floating Guidelines: To be followed as per unit policies.
• Attendance Policies: Company-wide attendance policy will be adhered to.
