Unit Type: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Number of Beds: 41
- Number of Staff: 60
- Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 (rare)
Equipment and Technology
- High-Frequency Oscillation Ventilation (HFOV)
- Central Lines
- Conventional Ventilators
- CPAP and NIPPV
- Ostomy Care
Electronic Medical Record Systems: CPN and Meditech
Requirements
Experience and Skills
Mandatory: Level II-III NICU experience
Preferred: Level III-IV NICU experience
Typical Procedures Performed
- Surgery (except heads/hearts)
- Respiratory Support
- MicroPremie Care
Personality Fit

Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)

Floating Areas
May include nursery rotations.
