Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. This role specifically focuses on night shifts, providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights (11A - 11P)
• No on-call duty
• No floating to other departments
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included in the submission packet and made up at the end of the contract
• RTO blackout period: Labor Day

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• CPI certification required (may be obtained after contract start)
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Competency in critical care assessment and management, IV skills, and cardiac monitoring

Job Responsibilities

• Triage of patients
• Apply critical thinking and assessment skills
• Perform nursing skills including IV/IO access, chest tube management, and catheterization
• Comfortable with critical care drip management

Unit Information

• Emergency Department with 16 beds
• Patient to Nurse ratio: 4:1 (variable)
