Job Overview
Seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This role requires an experienced professional with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Nights, 4x12s (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Floating: Required
- Scheduling: Block scheduling is not an option
Responsibilities
The Emergency Department Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the emergency setting.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Cerner.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4 in a 30-bed unit.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the respective state.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), NIHSS.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in an emergency department or similar setting.
Additional Information
This position is located in a facility in Indiana. Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel assignment.
