Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide patient and family education on health management and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for night shifts, including alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system is preferred.
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
