Position Description
The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for delivering comprehensive cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients, adhering to protocols approved by the medical staff and departmental policies. Core responsibilities include:
- Assisting physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Delivering medicated aerosols using medical compressed gases.
- Maintaining airways and managing ventilators.
- Performing intubations and arterial blood gas analysis.

Shift: Nights, 1830-0700 (3x12)
Contract Duration
Duration: 13 Weeks
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- Certification as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience, including ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED) exposure.
- Some experience in NICU and Pediatrics is preferred to adequately cover the ED needs.
