Location: Denver, CO
- Number of Beds: 12 Labor & Delivery, 8 Triage, 11 Antepartum
- Number of Staff: 72
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:2 Labor & Delivery
- 1:3-4 Triage
- 1:4 Antepartum
General Information
The unit specializes in various procedures including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, dilation and curettage (D&C), hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and versions. The nursing staff handles high-risk obstetrics cases and operates using current technology.
Qualifications
- Must have:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) training
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital RN experience
- Preferred:
- Travel nursing experience
- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system
