Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Stroke Unit

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg Stroke Unit. This position is critical in providing high-quality patient care to those experiencing strokes and other neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stroke Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about stroke prevention and recovery.
• Perform regular assessments and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Active Florida state or multistate nursing license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience, particularly in a Stroke Unit setting.

Shift Information

This position is for the night shift, with hours from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Duration

The expected duration of this assignment is 13 weeks.
