Location: Englewood, CO

Unit Details:

• Number of Beds: 33 rooms, up to 49 patients with some semi-private rooms
• Number of Staff: 62
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 during the day, 5:1 at night
• Typical Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System: Meditech

General Information

We are seeking qualified candidates for our busy medical floor, specializing in the care of surgical flap patients, spinal cord injuries, and low acuity burn patients. This role involves the management of patients with complex medical needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with spinal cord injury patients
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing high-quality patient care in a busy medical/surgical floor
• Performing wound care and light burn care
• Managing bowel programs as needed
