Shift Information
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, Floor RNs based on 5:1 ratio, No techs
Equipment
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech / CPN
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) knowledge
- Experience in large trauma facilities
Typical Responsibilities
- Manage IV drips, perform EKGs, and administer medications
- Manage chest tubes and devices such as pacemakers
