Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides critical care in fast-paced environments, focusing on patient assessment, clinical interventions, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Shift Details

This position requires availability for day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Location

Position available in North Hills, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room or similar acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing situations.
