Unit Information
Location: City, State
- Number of Beds: 10
- Number of Staff: 8
- Patient Ratios: 1:3-4
- Type of Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Philips electronic fetal monitoring
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: Cerner, FetaLink
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit.
- Assist in a variety of procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other related interventions.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Must have at least 1 year of labor and delivery experience.
- Experience with high-risk patients.
- Competence in immediate newborn care.
Preferred Skills:
- Circulating experience in surgical procedures.
Personality Fit
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Required Certifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
Floating Areas
- Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Mother-Baby Unit (MOMB)
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Dress Code
Scrubs will be provided.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements
Availability for weekends and on-call shifts is subject to approval.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
