Unit Information

Location: Aventura, FL

• Number of Beds: Not applicable
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Interventional Radiology equipment and supplies
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: On-call required; regular shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call starting after regular shift from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning. Weekend call is 24 hours, with a minimum requirement of 10 call shifts per month depending on staffing.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of procedures within the Interventional Radiology department.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of medical imaging technology.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Qualifications

• Must Have:
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology
• Additional Preferences:
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong independent functioning skills.

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs will be provided.
