Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care, with at least two years of experience in a hospital setting.

Unit Information

The Emergency Department features:

• Number of Beds: 34 - 44
• Annual Visits: Approximately 44,000
• Staff: 78 members including RNs and paramedics
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 4 patients

Typical Responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma Protocols
• Perform triage and initiate IV therapy
• Administer moderate sedation as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact License at the time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
