Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the Med Surg unit. This role will involve providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med Surg setting.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Schedule
This position requires a night shift schedule, with shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The contract duration is for 13 weeks.
