Patient Ratios: 2:1

Shift Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per month

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• FM Certification
• AWHONN Certification

Preferred Skills:

• RNC Certification
• Meditech Experience

Licensure

Active Texas RN License is required. Temporary licenses will not be accepted.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include circulating during C-sections and providing high-quality care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.

Documentation and Policies

• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: As needed

Dress Code

• Facility will provide scrubs.
• Nail Policy: Clean and Healthy.
• Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors.
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed.
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
• Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.

Additional Information

There is 1 unit tech available each shift and 1 unit secretary on day shift. Attendance and floating policies will apply as per unit guidelines.
