Unit Highlights

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX, within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in renal care.

Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 - 40 hours per week
Weekend Requirements: Discuss during the interview
Call Requirements: Discuss during the interview

Patient Ratios: 4:1
Documentation System: Meditech
Unit Staffing Description: Progressive Care
Floating Policy: As needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of PCU or ICU experience
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
Current RN license
BLS certification
ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience with specialized procedures to be discussed during the interview

Patient Care Focus

Commitment to providing a positive patient experience through:

Hourly safety rounding
Bedside shift report
Sit-to-commit interactions

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Specific requirements to be discussed during the interview
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; no artificial or gel nails
Hair: Neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
Tattoos: Should be covered when possible; individual assessment for those unable to cover
Piercings: Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited

Unit Guidelines

Attendance policies will be followed as per the company-wide guidelines
Floating guidelines applicable as per hospital policy
