Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, critical care environment and are passionate about providing exceptional care to vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates and their families in the NICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to families regarding the care of their infants.
- Document patient information and care provided accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a NICU setting.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Schedule and Location
This travel position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role is located in Rapides, LA.
