Location: Thornton, CO
- Unit type: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Beds: 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath/Suites
- Number of Staff: 9
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient in the Cath Lab procedural area
- Type of Equipment: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
- EMR: Meditech
Job Overview
This position requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Skills
- Holding experience
- Monitoring experience
Typical Procedures Performed
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Peripheral diagnostic and interventions
- Pacing, ICD insertions, and Cardioversions
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Tilt Table Tests and Dobutamine Stress Tests
