Unit Information

Location: Englewood, CO

• Number of Beds: 408 Bed Hospital
• Main Operating Room: 14 Operating Rooms (including 1 Hybrid CV OR and 1 Cysto)
• Staffing: 60 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) including OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, and Clinical Charge RNs
• Staff Composition:
  • Day Shift: 14-16 RNs and 14-16 CSTs, including 2 Clinical Charge RNs
  • Night Shift: 1 Clinical Charge RN, 1 OR RN, and 1 CST with call teams for Neuro, CVOR, and General
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: Standard OR Equipment and Stryker Video Systems
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Qualifications

• Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience
  • BLS and ACLS certification
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in circulating and scrubbing
  • Familiarity with Meditech

Typical Procedures

Common procedures performed in this unit include:

• Angioplasty
• Appendectomy
• Biopsy
• Orthopedic and Spine surgeries

No transplant procedures are performed in this unit.
