Unit Information

Join our operating room team at a 408-bed facility, featuring 14 operating rooms including a hybrid cardiovascular OR and a cystoscopy room.

General Information

The operating room staff consists of approximately 60 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs), including OR Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Anesthesia Technicians, and various leadership roles.

Shifts and Patient Care

• Day Shift: 14-16 RNs and 14-16 CSTs, plus 2 Clinical Charge RNs.
• Night Shift: 1 Clinical Charge RN, 1 OR RN, and 1 CST, with additional on-call teams for Neuro, Cardiovascular, and General Surgery.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1.

Equipment and Technology

Utilize standard operating room equipment along with Stryker video systems. Experience with the Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of current acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in circulating and scrubbing procedures.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR.
