Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position requires a dedicated professional with substantial experience in emergency care.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 54
• Number of Staff: 125
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Type of Staff:
  • Night Shift: 2 Charge RNs, 8 RNs, 5 Paramedics
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Typical Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in emergency situations.
• Prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: More than 1.5 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Preferred Experience: 2+ years of ER experience and familiarity with Meditech EHR.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Work Schedule

This position includes rotating weekends. The typical schedule will be a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
