Description
Job Overview
This position involves providing care for patients who require Medical Step-Down level of care. The role emphasizes high-quality patient outcomes and effective teamwork in a critical care environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care to individuals meeting Medical Step-Down criteria.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
Mandatory Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association.
- A minimum of 2 years of critical care or step-down nursing experience.
Shift Information
Two shifts are available:
- Days: 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
- Nights: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
Weekend and holiday rotation is required, and no guaranteed hours are offered. Overtime is paid at the regular, all-inclusive rate. Holiday coverage is also required.
Certifications / Requirements Prior to Start
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA
