Description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment specializing in interventional and electrophysiology procedures.
Unit Information
- Unit: Cath Lab
- Beds: 3 main, including 1 Electrophysiology (EP) and 1 Hybrid room
- Cases: 10-25 cases per day
- EMR Systems: Cerner and Xper
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a Level I trauma environment.
- Assist with a variety of procedures including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular cases.
- Function as a circulating and scrub nurse.
- Collaborate with radiology technicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in patient and family education related to procedures and care plans.
Qualifications
- Education: Current RN license in Arizona (MRTBE CRT required for techs)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting required.
- Certifications: BLS, and ARRT certification for techs who can scrub.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of Phillips and Siemens equipment.
Schedule
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation required.
- Call Requirement: 8-12 days per month.
Additional Notes
- Response time of 30 minutes for on-call duties.
- No IV team or ventilator support available.
- Floor-specific orientation will last for 2 days.
