Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in circulating for general and eye surgeries, with a preference for candidates who have scrubbing experience in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Circulate general and eye surgical procedures.
• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile and safe operating room.
• Be available for on-call rotations, approximately once a week.

Qualifications

• Active IL nursing license.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system.
• Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or above.
• Must provide one current professional reference from the past year.

Work Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday. Orientation is conducted on Mondays.

Location

Position available in City, State. Candidates must be within a 30-minute drive to the designated location.

Additional Information

The selected candidate will be expected to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and holidays. Floating to CVOR may be required if the candidate has the necessary experience.
