Description
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the operating room specialty, along with proficiency in a variety of surgical cases including robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology.
Schedule
Monday to Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and expertise in a variety of surgical cases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Holiday Requirements
The Registered Nurse must be available to work two major holidays from the following list: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
