Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide exceptional patient care in a critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification is required.
- Preferred CCRN certification.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system is beneficial.
Work Schedule
Varied shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Holiday Requirements
The successful candidate must be willing to work during the holiday season, specifically:
- Two major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
- One minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.
