Description
Position Overview
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) position is a vital role within a float pool that supports staffing across multiple locations in the region, specifically in Corvallis, Albany, and Lebanon. This role mandates adaptability and the ability to work across different facilities, as assignments may shift based on staffing needs.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of both mother and newborn.
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications.
- Preferred certifications: Fetal Monitoring and STABLE.
- Epic proficiency required.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent due to testing requirements.
Job Responsibilities
As a member of the float pool, the LDRP RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process, including:
- Labor management and delivery care.
- Monitoring fetal and maternal health.
- Supporting and educating postpartum patients and their newborns.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimum patient care across various settings.
Additional Requirements
The position requires the use of a personal automobile for travel between different care points, and it is essential to have availability for varied scheduling, including primarily weekend shifts.
Please note that excessive requests for time off (RTO) will not be approved.
