Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Acute Care Unit. This role involves working collaboratively within a team-based care model, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring patient progress, and communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Must-have:
  • BLS and ACLS certification to be completed prior to the end of orientation
  • All RNs must possess a valid nursing license
• Preferred:
  • Experience in ICU or Stepdown units
  • At least one year of medical/surgical nursing experience

Typical Procedures

• IV starts, central venous lines, and arterial lines
• Insertion of Foley catheters
• EKG monitoring
• Wound care management

Work Schedule

This position requires participation in a weekend rotation, with three Mondays and Fridays scheduled every six weeks. Holidays are assigned according to the staffing matrix.

Dress Code

Nurses are expected to wear navy blue scrubs, while nursing assistants will wear galaxy or royal blue scrubs.
