Description

Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proficient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The position will primarily involve working on the Comprehensive Medical Unit with opportunities to float between various Medical-Surgical units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.

Shift Information

  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Coverage: Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Comprehensive Medical Unit.
  • Float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of current/recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience.
  • Proficient in Epic EMR; candidates must document proficiency.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Candidates will be tested for telemetry reading skills on the first day of employment.
