Clinical Perioperative Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Clinical Perioperative Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. This position is practiced within a clinical environment overseen by Nurse Managers and supported by various leadership roles, embodying a commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized nursing care to patients, families, and significant others in the perioperative setting.
  • Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed caregivers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implement the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association.
  • Uphold system policies and procedures while promoting service excellence goals.
  • Engage in evidence-based practices and contribute to nursing research and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and nursing competencies supporting the Professional Practice Model.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and nursing ethics.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
