Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg unit to work day shifts. This position offers a unique schedule, providing a balanced work-life routine.
Schedule
- Days: 7 AM - 7 PM
- Work Schedule: Dupont Schedule - 3 days on, 2 days off, then 2 days on, 3 days off
- Every other weekend required
Contract Details
This role initially includes a 4-week contract with the potential for extensions based on performance and department needs. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, and there will be no requests for time off permitted during the contract period.
Patient Care
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1, ensuring focused and quality care for each patient.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg setting
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas or a multi-state license
- CERTIFICATIONS:
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Must present in solid color, clean, and professional attire.
