Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit

Job Description

This position is for a Level II trauma Neuro/Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit (NT/SICU) that features a 12-bed unit with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit specializes in caring for neuro and trauma patients and requires proficiency in handling patients with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and lumbar drains. The RN will be expected to float to the Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, and Med-Surg units as necessary.

Shift Information

Shift: NOC, 12-hour shift, starting at 1900
Holiday Coverage: Required

Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years of acute critical care experience
Experience with EPIC charting
Level II trauma critical care experience
Current California RN license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Previous travel nurse experience
