Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Cath Lab to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts. This position includes rotating on-call responsibilities, requiring 3-4 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Cath Lab environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient health throughout procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment.
• Participate in patient education and support.

Qualifications

• Required: 2-3+ years of recent experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a background in traveling assignments.
• Current nursing license in Illinois.
• Certificates required: BLS and ACLS.

Schedule

This position requires the ability to work 10-hour shifts a minimum of 4 days a week, along with rotating weekend on-call duties. On-call personnel should be prepared to respond within 30 minutes.

Additional Notes

The RN will also be expected to cover call for Highland Park as needed, providing comprehensive care within the region.
