Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby/Nursery

Unit Information

This position is within a Maternity Care Center that provides a comprehensive range of services to mothers and newborns.

• Number of Beds: 9 Labor and Delivery (LDR); 8 Post-Partum/Gynecology (PP/GYN); 2 Operating Room (OR) suites; 23 well-baby nursery beds
• Number of Staff: 50+
• Patient Ratios: 3 couplets per nurse; 1:1 for Labor and Delivery during active labor, Pitocin usage, or epidural administration
• Type of Equipment: Corometrics monitoring systems
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Centricity Perinatal & Meditech

Job Requirements

Must Have:

• Experience in Obstetrics (OB)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a circulator, first assist, or scrub for cesarean sections

Schedule

Shifts follow a 4-week schedule, including 4 weekend shifts. Weekend duties fall on Saturday and Sunday, with night shifts on Friday and Saturday. While there is no on-call requirement for travel staff, opportunities for extra shifts may arise.

Experience Required

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
