Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Medical Center team. This position involves working the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while demonstrating excellent clinical skills and strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical history.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Assist with the management of medical equipment and supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
