Description
Job Description
The Nursing Coordinator delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while effectively coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, adhering to established care standards.
- Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion to assess patient needs and formulate care plans.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff in the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Utilize independent judgment to make decisions regarding patient care and staff management.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in nursing and supervisory roles is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Location
This position is available in various locations, including multiple areas within the region.
