Job Overview

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients while maintaining a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS & TNCC certification required
• CPI Blue Card

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in travel nursing or large facility settings
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
• Experience in a 52-bed emergency room or larger
• Strong understanding of patient experience

Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Department Nurse will be responsible for:

• Performing IV starts and medication administration
• Providing sedation and pediatric care
• Adhering to unit guidelines and policies, including scanning of patients and medications at all times
