Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

Shift Information

This position requires working day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with every other weekend required.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Provide care for a patient ratio of 6 to 1.
• Manage and coordinate patient care effectively in a medical-surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Current compact or Alabama RN license with no NURSYS hits.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.

Uniform Requirements

Scrubs should be in Royal/Galaxy Blue color.

This position is located in a well-respected facility in Alabama.
