Description
Department Description
The Medical Surgical unit specializes in providing care for acutely ill adults and patients who require both emergent and elective surgical procedures. Patients on the Medical Surgical unit receive the highest standards of professional care from registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification is required.
Shift Information
This position involves day shifts from 0645 to 1915, with rotating weekends and holiday coverage being mandatory.
Minimum Years of Experience
1 year of relevant experience is required.
Certifications / Requirements
- BLS/BCLS certification is required.
